The electric car maker has revealed that the Model S will be available with a modern air conditioning system, a significant upgrade for its current models.

“In our latest design update, we brought air conditioning to the Model X and S,” the company said in a blog post on Wednesday.

“This upgrade will deliver a significant improvement to the overall cabin comfort and efficiency.”

In the same blog post, Tesla said that the updated Model S would be available “soon”.

The new cabin design will be unveiled in two versions, the Model 3 with a 6.3-litre supercharged V8 and the Model 4 with a 7.1-litres supercharged 4×4 engine.

“We are excited to finally unveil our newest design update,” Tesla CEO Elon Musk wrote.

“The Model 3 will be powered by an 8-speed automatic transmission, with an all-wheel drive system.

The Model 4 will feature a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and all-new design features.

The latest design also includes an all new exterior styling with a more streamlined design, a rear fascia with LED lights, an all wheel drive system, and a fully redesigned interior.”

Tesla’s updated Model X will be the first to receive the new cabin improvements, with the first units to arrive in 2019.
